The word incarnate means: "embody or represent (a deity or spirit) in human form"42. God states He is a man possessed and uses the word man to make it clear that this is not a person who is the born-devil (as movie plots go) but rather a full grown man who over time get possessed by the devil, and becomes Satan within.
As God explained, the degree of possession is determined by the level of cooperation. In this case, this man is a willing accomplice. He is owned body and soul.

Meaning: We have more to fear of men than we do of God.
Great evil has taken place in human history yet God never stepped in, as described. So, for this time to come there must be so much devastation that God has to come in full force to prevent the annihilation of mankind and the world - the situation is hopeless. Humanity will be grateful to God for this will be an answer to man’s prayers.
Jesus will come not to destroy our world but to save it from our destruction.
